I am a Research Professor at the National University of San Luis, my specialty for my doctoral thesis is the antimicrobial activity of natural compounds such as flavonoids and chalcones. Also the modification by chemical substitution of certain compounds to be later evaluated for its antimicrobial activity. In addition the synergism of these compounds and commercial antibiotics against various Gram +, Gram - and multi - resistant microorganisms. The method used is the turbidimetric kinetic, where we obtain concrete data.On the other hand, I wished myself as Head of Laboratory of Public Health of the Province of San Luis, Argentina. Here we carry out monitoring of Transmissible diseases so that Epidemiology is my other branch of formation. In this case we perform surveillance of parasitic diseases such as Chagas caused by the parasite Trypanosoma cruzy, Triquinosis by Triquinella spiralis and Hydatidosis for Echinococcus granulosus. Also bacteria like Bordetella, Chlamydias, Rickettsiae, as well as norovirus, enterovirus, arbovirus and respiratory viruses among others. We use biochemical methods such as serology and microbiology, as well as molecular diagnostic methods such as a real time PCR.
