Dr Veeranoot Nissapatorn is an Associate Professor at the the School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University, in Thailand. She obtained MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi University, India, Diploma and Master of Clinical Tropical Medicine from Mahidol University, Thailand. Moreover, Dr Veeranoot actively involves in the research development with more than 90 publications in various international journals and her areas of interest are infectious parasitic diseases including epidemiology, water-based research (Southeast Asia Water Team), clinical relevant, diagnostic challenges, natural products and health awareness including human and animal aspects. She is a member on different editorial boards for established peer review journals as well as an active peer reviewer for over 30 different journals and to name a few: The Lancet, The Lancet HIV and The Lancet Infectious Diseases. She has published book chapters (e.g., World Health Organization and InTech publisher) and also served as Book Editor (InTech publisher), Associate Editor, Guest Editor (e.g., Frontier in Microbiology), Invited speakers, Keynote/Plenary speakers in various international conferences and Visiting Professor.
